Up coming change: the GWF water filter & HWF water filter will be replaced by the MWF in June 2005 by General Electric.

Reduces waterborne contaminates such as lead, cryptosporidium and giardia

For use in refrigerator water filtration systems that originally used replacement filter GWF01 and GWF06

Also replaces FXRT and FXRC filters when used with a reusable adaptor (Part number: Adapter)

No tools required for installation

Replace filters every six (6) months

If you are replacing a Water by Culligan filter FXRC, FXRT, MXRC, Hotpoint HXRT, WR97X10006, or Kenmore 46-9905 for the first time you will also need to purchase an adapter see below.

	The MWF filter plus adapter is 2 inches taller than the FXRC, FXRT, MXRC, HXRT, so if your top refrigerator shelf is set high, you may want to order the MXRC instead.
